Wow....A Brand New President: It Is Not a Game
Reporting from Washington it's the K-Nice Report. Actually I am in Washington Heights, but who's really checkin'? My dear friend Dave, has been harassing me about writing, and I promised that I would get something up before my ghetto pass got revoked, so here it is--
WE HAVE A NEW PRESIDENT, AND HE'S A STRAIGHT UP, 100%, BONA FIDE BROTHA...note that I didn't say negro, or black man, or any other descriptive, but brotha. How in the heck did this happen? I mean, don't we still live in the United States of America? Ain't white still right? Do black gotta still stand back? And is brown ground? You feel me. I cannot get over the reality of almost 1 million black people freezing they butts off to go see they president get sworn in last Tuesday. You have never seen anything like it...your auntie, yo' momma, yo' grandmomma, and Tyrone an' 'nem all piled on the bus or the van or the Escalade and wen to DC to see they prez get sworn in like it was...1862 or something. It was amazing, fantastic, surreal, beautiful, unreal, magical, and I was there, baby
But how about the pix? This guy is not only the best looking president since JFK, his style has yet to be fully realized, because we have only seen him in presidential blue, or pinstripes, and in Brooks Brothers no less. This guy is scary and if you don't understand you will wake up and there will be peace in the middle east and and brand new hybrid Escalade in every American's driveway in like...12 months. You heard it here first. I just cannot get over it. He has a dope looking wife! A BLACK WOMAN. Cute ass daughters. Not funny looking-- without questionable, black girl names--common, you know what I mean. Malia is gonna be a mess, count on it, until Sasha kicks her lil butt up and down the east wing. Seriously, though, with Michelle and her momma in the White House, everything is gonna be alright because they are strong black women-- thank God, for once. I hope they cook some greens and black eyes for late New Years in the crib.
Anyway, share your thoughts on the first "hunnit daze"...You got a black president!

Barack was disrespected by Roberts! Was the Roberts-- the official "Republican Supreme Court" rep-- so upset to see a Democrat in office that he did not practice the speech?
Was it intentional? Only he knows-- we must keep Barack in power long enough to get another Thurgood in the Supreme Court!
Who's the oldest and most feeble on the Court these days???

love the update and thanks for the insight on the inauguration. i thought judge roberts was tacky and joseph lowery was the realest!!!
i think obama getting his cabinet/people in place was a master stroke and is the reason he was able to really focus on big issues, like getting the stimulus passed. so i'd say so far, so good. i thought him going on the arab tv station this week was very smart.
i'm not really feelin the part of the stimulus for broadband; only because it appears that the money will primarily go to the monopoly telecoms who got us in this place in the first place.
