A interesting event called the Twestival happened in New York recently. Twestivals have been organized around the world and they are madly popular. The event is that is organized and marketed virally using the popular social media web app called Twitter has been developed to bring people together to support a worthy cause.
The cause that this Twestival was organized to support was Camp Interactive. Camp interactive is a unique camp that takes urban kids out on trips hiking, sailing and engaging in other fascinating outdoor activities. They then challenge the kids to document their outings digitally with cameras and video so that they can share it with friends via websites they create along with other forms of social media.
